Visit Wickliffe Mounds on Saturdays this summer and participate in family fun activities for all ages to enjoy! Each Saturday is a different program to create a craft, play a game, throw a spear, or a hands-on demonstration of archaeology, geology and more!

Programs are free with paid museum admission ($5 adults; $4 kids age 5-15).  Time is 10:00 to 3:00.  Crafts available while supplies last.  Program types depend on weather.

Activities and programs are one per Saturday and different each time and may include:

Spears and Atlatls, Clay Play Days, Gourd Art, Woven Coasters, Corn Shuck Dolls, Bundle Bags, Natural Tie Dye, Birds of the Mounds & Bird House, Gorget Necklaces, Geo-Archaeology Stream Table, Archaeology Basics and Fingerwoven bracelets.

A Season Pass to the museum is available for families and individuals who want to visit and participate in these programs on multiple occasions.

Wickliffe Mounds State Historic Site is located at 94 Green Street, Wickliffe, Kentucky, on the Great River Road National Scenic Byway.  Open daily in the summer, the park has a museum, welcome center, gift shop, picnic areas, a nature trail, a walking tour of the mounds and games available daily to play such as stickball, hoop and darts, and ring toss.
